Rich in love or friends is a legitimate status, Little Miss 6 Year Old – but yeah, that answer means he is broke. It’s probably the insane amount of kids he has. Four kids under ten is a lot! He constantly tweets about them and protects their privacy with pseudonyms like Betsy, Mae, Lucy, and Waffle.

I love it when kids make acute observations like that. They pick up on a lot of things, and they know a lot more than we give them credit for. Of course, their definition of “rich” and “broke” is probably different than an adult’s. And every kid goes through a phase of asking his parents if they’re rich or broke, so that’s completely normal.
