Easter Eggs From Our Favorite Christmas Films That We Missed

We are so used to big action films with lots of special effects and big cast names and whatnot, that we forget that sometimes a film can be made up of simple things that speak volumes. Well, we are reminded just how a simple score can change a character profile in Home Alone.

When Kevin first meets Old Man Marley, there is a terrible sounding score in the background, that intentionally instills the audience with a sense of fear, but after Kevin and Mr. Marley get to talking, the score changes from ‘Dier Irae’ to ‘Carol of the Bells’. The first being a Gregorian chant warning of danger, and the second of harmony.
