Men Are Sharing Things They Find Unattractive In Women and It’s Starting an Important Conversation Online

Although it seems like quite a popular habit, the number of people in America who smoke is actually quite small. In fact, the CDC revealed in 2020 that approximately only 12.5% of American adults smoke cigarettes regularly, which represents roughly 30.8 million people. There’s also a gender imbalance here.

Surprisingly, 14.1% of adult American men smoke, compared to only 11% of women who do the same. Why is it acceptable for men to do this and not women? That seems like backward and slightly oppressive thinking, especially since women are in the minority of women who engage in this habit!
