#31: Ghasa Suspension Bridge – Nepal
It’s not built for people, but they cross it anyway. The Ghasa Suspension Bridge in Nepal was created for livestock, and you can tell. Narrow, high above a steep gorge, and constantly swaying under even the lightest hooves or feet, it challenges even seasoned trekkers.

Goats and yaks seem more at home than tourists. The bridge creaks under uneven weight and has just enough side netting to give a false sense of comfort. Add mountain winds and unpredictable Himalayan weather, and you’ve got a recipe for a walk that feels like gambling with gravity—one hoofprint or heartbeat at a time.
