#13: Dwight D. Eisenhower Took UFO Reports Very Seriously
Dwight D. Eisenhower took UFO reports seriously enough to expand the government’s investigation efforts. Under his watch, Project Blue Book grew into a major Air Force program analyzing sightings across the country. Thousands of cases poured in, from pilots, civilians, even radar operators.

Eisenhower wasn’t some sci-fi believer, but he also wasn’t dismissive. He wanted answers, data, patterns — anything that could confirm or debunk the strange lights people kept spotting. The result was one of the largest official UFO studies in history, born straight out of Cold War nerves and genuine curiosity.
