Royals, They’re Just Like Us!
This fun fact is absolutely delightful. We often assume the rich and famous travel the world on private planes and exclusive charters. However, members of the Royal Family very often fly commercial! Queen Elizabeth herself was known to fly commercially, and Prince Harry and Meghan have been spotted on some economy flights. Imagine boarding your flight only to see a king or queen in first class!
The British Royals fly commercially so often that they even have a preferred airline! They always try to fly with British Airways since it’s the official airline of the UK. Obviously, special accommodations are made to ensure the royals are safe. For example, they have special waiting lounges and are usually driven to and from the plane to board directly. We won’t see them lining up to have their boarding passes scanned anytime soon!
