#10: Chocolate Breakfast Cereal
Chocolate cereal can make breakfast feel like a treat, and many boxes advertise added vitamins and minerals. Those nutrients do not automatically make the cereal healthy, especially when sugar appears near the beginning of the ingredient list.

Sweet chocolate varieties are often low in protein and fiber, so a large bowl may not keep you satisfied until lunch. Select an unsweetened or lightly sweetened whole-grain cereal instead. Add berries, nuts, milk, and a small dusting of unsweetened cocoa powder when you still want chocolate flavor.
