#4: Frosted Breakfast Cereal
A bowl of frosted cereal brings back childhood memories and takes only a minute to prepare. Milk adds some protein and calcium, but it cannot completely balance a cereal that gets much of its flavor from a thick coating of added sugar.

A sugary cereal may cause energy to rise quickly before dropping again, especially when the cereal contains little fiber. Check labels for a whole grain as the first ingredient and minimal added sugar. Plain cereal topped with berries, nuts, and milk is a more satisfying choice.
