#55: Spam and Eggs
Spam and eggs create a salty, filling breakfast that requires very little preparation. The eggs provide valuable protein, but Spam is a heavily processed meat that can make the overall meal much less heart-friendly.

Spam is particularly high in sodium and also contains saturated fat and preservatives. Eating it regularly may make blood pressure and fluid retention more difficult to manage after 50. Keep the eggs and replace Spam with vegetables, beans, avocado, or a small portion of fresh lean meat.
